Fast Facts
For students who want to study business in a comprehensive, dynamic environment, Babson College may just be a dream come true. Not content to have students learn by passively sitting in their classrooms, Babson demands that students work hands-on right away; in fact, the school gives all first-year students (grouped in teams) $3,000 start-up loans to create, run and liquidate a business in their first year alone. Babson students also benefit from other professional development opportunities, such as receiving leadership coaching and participating in a management consulting program, through which they can work with real-world firms like Boston Scientific
and Stacy’s Pita Chips.
