Location

Mount Vernon, Iowa (20 minutes northeast of Iowa City and 20 minutes southeast of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

1,200 students (47% male, 53% Female).  47 States and territories represented. 12% minority; 3%international.

Faculty Profile

92 Full time faculty members. 13:1 student to faculty ratio. Average class size 15.

Athletics

NCAA Division III; Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference; a league of.  19 Varsity sports including men’s baseball, football and wretling, women’s softball and volleyball, along with men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, indoor track, outdoor track, soccer, and tennis.  Additionally, the school offers club sports and intramurals.

 

Cost and Aid

2005-2006: $30,110 comprehensive ($23,500 tuition). 80% of students receive some type of financial aid. Average aid award: $17,000.
