Program Description
COMPASS Guide helps students find information to continue their education beyond high school. COMPASS Guide is free to Milwaukee area students, parents and educational professionals. It provides:
-  Local scholarship information
-  Career, college and national scholarship information
-  Training, workshops and presentations for professionals, parent groups, mentors and others who want to help students access post-secondary opportunities

Organization History
Since its founding in 2001, COMPASS Guide has evolved to:
- a website portal identifying over $3 million in local scholarships that are awarded to 3000 students annually
 - a guide for students in the transition from high school to post-secondary education,
 - a resource for parents, mentors and program staff providing direct services to teens and
 - a resource site with timelines for students, listing of pre-college programs, schedule of advising sessions held in Milwaukee Public Libraries and career exploration.
